A specialist in construction law, commercial and contractual disputes, Richard is a barrister and member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, the Chartered Institute of Building, the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, the Expert Witness Institute, and RICS Adjudicator's panel.

A Board director of the Rhead Group and its subsidiary operation, Alway Silver, Richard has been involved extensively in the investigation, management, arbitration, adjudication and successful resolution of contractual and commercial disputes on matters of quantum, programming and planning in major construction, rail and civil engineering projects.
