Peter Nicholas, Head of Health and Safety

Peter Nicholas is a Fellow of the Association for Project Safety. Peter joined the Rhead Group in 2005 as the Group’s Divisional Manager for Health and Safety responsible for providing internal and external health and safety services to all aspects of the business. Peter is passionate about improving safety at source through good risk management and in 2007 the Rhead Group achieved OHSAS:18001 accreditation.

Peter has a wealth of experience across a wide variety of major engineering projects as a designer, site based project manager, and, since 1999, as a Safety Manager and leading CDM Co-ordinator. Peter heads a team of highly competent professionals who provide health and safety support to projects across the UK. The team also provides CDM services to the whole project lifecycle and has developed many processes and systems that actively implement health, safety and environmental risk mitigation.
