John Birch, Associate Commercial Director

John Birch joined The Rhead Group in 1987 as a senior quantity surveyor. Having graduated with a Diploma in Quantity Surveying from Salford College of Technology in 1982 John has focussed on the successful delivery of Pre and Post-contract administration for Rhead clients across the UK, and overseas.

John was promoted to Associate Director in 1999. Since that time he has taken a lead role in the development of the Northern Office with responsibility for the mentoring of junior and graduate quantity surveyors. In early 2002 John set up the companies Risk Management practice which today boasts a team of four consultants working on project, financial and schedule risk; inspection & maintenance optimisation; safety risks and QRA.
